We know that it isn’t enough for coffee growers to break even each harvest because it never allows them to reinvest back into their farms, families, and communities. This is why we’ve created a system we’ve coined “cultivated trade.”

This means not only paying above fair trade pricing, but also includes working together as a coffee roaster, exporter, and producer to determine what each individual farm would need to help their business succeed. At the end of the day, we are committed to providing financial security and constantly reinvesting in our partners.

We put good energy into every step of our roasting process. First, we use a hybrid of air and drum roasting which has allowed us to become 90% more energy efficient. This is because our system recycles hot air instead of releasing it.

All our coffees are then roasted to order so our customers get the freshest coffee possible. Each batch is carefully monitored, evaluated with a color reading after cooling, and tasted at the final stage to ensure that the coffee we send to you is of the highest quality and up to our rigorous standards.
