We first met Demetrio in early 2025 at our Colombian origin partner Maniwa’s cupping lab. Tasting his Gesha variety alongside him, we could immediately see that Demetrio had something special going on at his farm. This classic Gesha profile is one that has been harder to find recently due to the abundance of lower quality mutated seeds being in heavy distribution and it’s why this coffee stood out as a great first feature from this coffee grower that we will undoubtedly keep showcasing.
