Hold on tight! High altitude, consistent rainfall, and the Bourbon variety gives Rwandan coffees a juicy tartness. While the volcanic soil around Lake Kivu adds a sparkling freshness helping to balance this coffee out. This lot was grown by smallholders in the Nyamasheke district who work closely with the Gatare washing station to continually increase their quality. Try sitting with this coffee as the flavors twist and turn, and when cool it will remind you of a coffee cocktail.
